Plumber said he would be along late morning as did the electrician. As it turned out, the plumber never arrived, although he did text me to explain, and the electrician came earlier than expected.
Electrician fitted the sockets and the two lights and that's him finished now. He's coming back in January to fit a number of double sockets in the office, replacing my three extension cables!

We have three double electrical sockets including USB charging points, and beside two we have a TV and DAB radio socket.
And the wall light which this picture doesn't do credit to. This will be our "always on" light and we plan to have a lamp or reading light each plus probably another table lamp.
