Changes are not obvious to the casual observer but changes there are. Between yesterday and today Paul the plumber has fitted two radiators, the office and the conservatory. He was unable to fit the bedroom one as he hit a block that was a little crumbly when drilled so he's put resin in to firm it up and will return Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
We now have some moderate warmth in both the conservatory and the office now.
Monday the decorator is coming to give us a quote for a few jobs here including painting the walls of the conservatory and the office. We've decided that, providing they're available, we want to leave it until the end of January. By that time the plaster should be well and truly dry, the floor will be covered and the skirting board fitted. In addition to that, on 20th January the electrician is returning to fit additional double electric sockets in the office as I'm currently connected up here using several extension sockets.
The office radiator. The copper pipe's gone now and the radiator is warm.
