Little to report today. The two fitters arrived around 8am in steady rain. About half an hour later George, installation manager, turned up with a van loaded with the glass. Windows and roof glass was stacked on the lawn.
We kept the fitters supplied with coffee and biscuits as they toiled away in the pouring rain.
By 11.30 they'd had enough. Most of the framework is up and secure so they called it a day and headed off home which, we were surprised to find was, Oxford!
They will be back Monday, hoping the weather is more favourable for them.
That's mad, are they gonna knock down your wall and build a door there then or is it only accessible from outside?

DeleteHi Joe, they will replace the windows of office and bedroom with doors so we can walk into the conservatory from either place.
