Plumber Pete arrived at 7.45 and found us up, showered and just beginning breakfast. He got on with his work of drilling holes in our walls and generally making ready for the three radiators prior to the plasterer coming today.
Two plasterers actually, Darren and Richard, excellent plasterers and expert consumers of countless cups of tea, coffee and biscuits.
First the plasterboard in the morning.
Then the plastering in the afternoon.
Finally - they've gone, and the empty cups are ours.
Tomorrow we expect the plumber to return. The two radiators for bedroom and office arrived 5pm today and the one for the conservatory is scheduled to be here tomorrow.
Friday, in theory, sees the return of the builders who will bring the floor up to door level then the electrician will return, probably Tuesday next week, for the second fix.
